Visit the sprawling Amber fort, the opulent City Palace, be amazed by the incredibly accurate Observatory & capture the beautiful façade of Palace of Wind. The capital of the must-see state of India, Jaipur also famously known as the “ Pink city”  was India’s first well planned city and today is perfect example of combination of past with present. With myriads of places to visit, the city boasts the rich and cultural heritage of India. Beautiful and well maintained forts & palaces, monkeys, camels & cows roaming on the roads freely, bustling and colourful bazaars and what not.  The morning start by visiting the most photographed façade of Palace of Wind constructed around 200 years back with many lattices windows was designed to allow the ladies of harem to gaze out on the city scene below without themselves being seen, the windows facing towards the east bringing-in refreshing breeze (hawa) which kept the palace cooler in the summer months as well. We proceed to Amber to visit its magnificent fortress, located amidst the picturesque and rocky Aravalli hills Amber is a not-to-be-missed place in Jaipur. The foundation of Amber palace was laid 400 years back by Raja Man Singh I. Beguiling beauty of the red sandstone and white marble adds to the magnificence. Scenic backdrop of the Maota Lake and panoramic views contribute to the eternal beauty of this palace. Intricate wall paintings, frescos and the use of precious gems and jewels in these paintings add to its timeless beauty. Sheesh Mahal or the ‘Palace of Mirror’ is also one of the captivating halls to visit within Amber Palace, decorated with numerous pieces of mirror, this hall was designed in such a way even a single ray entering into it can illuminate the entire hall. Later we visit exploring the lavish and well-preserved City Palace house of the former royal family of Jaipur. Here, we will find a fine collection of textiles, dresses and costumes of kings and queens and armoury. We also make a visit to explore the intriguing Jantar Mantar- an observatory built by the founder of the city Sawai Jai Singh. This is an assembly of immense astronomical instruments, including the world’s largest sundial at 27 mts tall. Jaipur is a centre of many handicrafts, such as wooden and cloth puppets, silver trinkets, carpets, hand block printed textiles, semi-precious & precious stones and jewellery, leatherwear etc. and provides great opportunities for various shopping bargains. As a result Akbar, Jehangir and Shahjahan have all left behind an impressive legacy of Mughal masterpieces.  Visit the wonder of the world The Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shahjahan for his beloved wife Queen Mumtaz Mahal who died in 1631. The Taj is serenely beautiful and never fails to amaze a visitor, the white marble exterior changes color according to the position of the sun during the day and is matched by the rich interior details. Within distance is the imposing and architectural grandeur Red Fort, Agra built by Akbar-the third great Mughal emperor and then embellished by his grandson Shahjahan was once a great fortification with the palaces, mosques, halls, courtyards and military garrison all protected by a moat supposedly inhabited by crocodiles. It is here Shahjahan (the emperor who built the Taj mahal) was imprisoned by his own son Aurangzeb. A dip in the waters of Pushkar Lake and worship at Brahma temple ensure salvation. In the evening we go for the Camel Safari in the surrounding desert. Pushkar camel safari will take you through nearby interesting small villages, farms, small sand dunes and the beautiful hills of the Aravalli mountain range. Abhaneri is originally named as Abha Nagri that means City of Brightness. It was built by King Raja Chand of Gurjar Kingdom in 9TH century. It is popular for Chand Baori and Harshat Mata Temple. It is a legend that Goddess Harshat Mata shower brightness all over the village, so it is named Abha Nagri which is probably mispronounced as Abhaneri. The major attraction of Abhaneri is the Chand Baori. The massive stepwell built to conserve rainwater is 20 m deep with 13 levels, is considered deepest and largest stepwell in India. Marvelous carvings on the steps make it to be an excellent piece of architecture. The stepwell stands as an amazing display of ancient engineering. The geometric step pattern gives fascinating and surprising experience to the tourists. Another interesting site to visit is Harshat Mata Temple dedicated to Goddess Harshat Mata, the Goddess of Joy. The temple built in 10th century and is situated near the Chand Baori, reflects an incredible architectural aspects of ancient India. Abhaneri also known for its local dances like Ghoomer and Kalbelia is remarkable site worth visiting at least once. The structures of this place remind one of the cultural and social hotspot this place used to be in the bygone era. The wealthy merchants of the village constructed many havelis and baoris (waterwell) with colored paintings adorning their walls. While some havelis are well maintained others are crumbling. This afternoon we will explore this amazing town often referred as outdoor museum. We will visit some of these ornate frescoed havelis and baoris. Painted with vibrant colours these havelis have many stories of Krishna, kings & queens and the lifestyle of people painted on them. The delicious lunch will be served at a very special place, the house of the royals of Nawalgarh converted into a beautiful heritage hotel with lovely gardens / swimming pool. The family has great interest in keeping and training, one of the finest breed of Indian Marwari horses and has a wonderful selection of 50-60 horses.
